Add a Lime to This Corona

What do you do when China gives you Corona? You add a lime to it and make it a party. Who would have imagined we would be dealing with this Pandemic not just nation-wide but world-wide. Crazy and scary, for sure! Not to minimize the importance and devastating number of ones being affected and how essential is to follow all directions and rules given and being implemented.

But lets be positive and focus and happy and exciting ideas. So you got engaged and planned to get married this year and now you are being faced with postponing or even cancelling your big day. No to worry, okay give yourself 15 to worry and panic, but then come back and read how you can turn this into something so epic and memorable.

I’m sure you have seen TinyHouse Nation, right? So now think Tiny Wedding trend, yes Tiny Wedding, aka Micro Wedding is becoming a huge trend this year and even more so with what we are facing.

What is a Micro Wedding you ask? Well think of slightly more quiet (depending of your family and friends it can still be loud and lively), intimate group of your most favorite and loved people. Typically has a guest count of 20 or less, and has a shorter and much more simplistic timeline. Micro weddings will have a quick ceremony and a more casual and relaxed reception if you choose to have one or you can skip reception all together, but we all know you like to party, so go ahead and host that reception to celebrate with your closets friends.

In a wonderful location or setting that has special meaning to the both of you. Doing this allows you use your budget creating a more luxurious, detailed and personalized experience not just for you both but for all your guest. Think champagne bars, multi-course gourmet dinner with wine pairing, luxurious lines and centerpieces that doubled as favors.

This trend is allowing couples to really invest in pampering their closest family and friends and memories that will last a lifetime. Create an amazing memorable experience for your guest by having drinks named after them, using non traditional florals and giving back by utilizing your bouquets as gifts and by having a non-ordinary location which will unique and memorable in itself.

Why Hire a Wedding Planner?

A better questions would actually be: why haven’t you hired one yet?

Yes of course I’m bias to this topic, this is what I do, I plan weddings! But don’t just take my word for it, if you have any friends that have gotten married, ask them what was the benefit of hiring their wedding planner and if they didn’t, if they would do it different.

I’m confident on what the answer to that will be because all of my couples have agreed on that, hiring a wedding planner, was the best thing they could have done.
